Managing Business labels

Similar to Datapoint labels, Business Labels work as tags that help categorize and organize various components across the platform. By tagging components with specific Business Labels, users can simplify the organization of dashboards and quickly access grouped categories within the Control Panel.

Creating a Business label

To create a new Business Label, navigate to the AI Lab section of the platform. From there, you can define and save a label that aligns with your organizational needs.

The Order field in the creation form determines the arrangement of business labels in the Control Panel. By default, if Quality does not have order value, it will always appear as the first option in the left-side menu.

For instance, you might create labels such as Anomaly Detection, Maintenance, or Quality to organize components that correspond to those specific operational tasks.

Usages of Business labels on Control Panel dashboards

Left-side menu accessibility

Business Labels are integral to the creation of dashboards in the Control Panel . When setting up a dashboard, you will find an option called Label in the menu. Selecting or assigning a label ensures that the component is categorized into a specific group, making it accessible through the menu on the left-hand side.

Notice that the Anomaly Detection option appears second in the left-side menu, reflecting the order assigned during the Business Label creation process.

This grouping mechanism allows users to efficiently manage and visualize dashboards by category. For example, dashboards tagged with Anomaly detection could be grouped together, providing quick access to insights about machinery health and performance.

Navigation between twins that share labels

In some scenarios, similar twins may share the same dashboard order concept. For example, if we have motor1 and motor2 within the same plant, we might have multiple dashboards called "Motor Maintenance", each displaying the specific status for one of them.

For easier navigation and flexibility, users can utilize the navigation arrows to switch between dashboards associated with different assets. In this case, if there are two dashboards for "Motor Maintenance" (one for motor1 and another for motor2), the arrows in the navigation bar make it simple to move between them.

The navigation bar dynamically displays the corresponding dashboard for each twin, even if some may include additional or unique components. This enables seamless comparison of results, ensuring everything remains under control while supporting detailed analysis and efficient machinery maintenance.
